As a Cleaner and Caretaker in our Head Office and Distribution Centre you will participate in several activities to always maintain the highest standard of cleanliness and housekeeping.

Although you will primarily carry out duties in relation to the Distribution Centre and Outside areas, your duties may include any general housekeeping during peak times and covering colleagues during any periods of absence.

You will always work to the Company's Quality and Health and Safety Standards, ensuring you always contribute to a safe and clean working environment.

Duties

Participate in any necessary cleaning function, within the realms of your capability, and as requested to do so by your Line Manager, to ensure all the building is always clean and presentable.
Compilation of QF124, Cleaning Checklist, and hand to Facilities Co-Ordinator on Friday of each week.
Consistently achieve the minimum acceptable Performance Standards set for your department including quality and productivity.
Clean floors in the Distribution Centre following a routine of deep cleaning using standard vacuums, industrial sweepers, scrubber driers, buffers, and mop, cleaning a designated area in line with your Rota each day.
Litter pickup from the perimeter of the building paying special attention to the visitor entrance and front of the building helping us to keep external areas tidy and organized.
Empty bins are emptied, and litter is picked up in outdoor rest break areas and smoking areas.
Collection of waste carboard from around the Warehouse and process through Bailing Machine.
Touchpoint cleaning.
Inspect, maintain, and clean all equipment daily, reporting any faults or wear and tear immediately to your Senior Cleaner.
Follow all Company policies including Health and Safety, COSHH, Manual Handling and undertake all relevant training.

Be courteous to colleagues and Managers, showing willingness to help and work as part

of a team.

Undertake such other duties, temporarily or on a continuing basis, as may be required of you commensurate with your position in the Company.
Workers have the right to one uninterrupted 20minute rest break during their working day, if they work more than 6 hours a day. The Company acknowledges that you work less than 6 hours a day and grants a 15minute break to be taken at 0900 every day.
