Administrative Assistant
Pascoe International have an exciting new position available at their Head Office near Southampton. Pascoe International design and build a range of award-winning Superyacht tenders to impeccably high standards.


The responsibilities of the role will include:

Accounts

  • Answering the accounts phone and first point of contact for account queries
  • Sending invoices for approval for raised purchase orders
  • Process staff expenses and credit cards
  • Managing accounts payable; data entry of invoices onto accounting software, reconciling statements.
  • Managing accounts receivable; raising invoices, monitoring aged debtors, and allocating incoming payments
  • Managing petty cash
  • Manage and allocate PDQ payments

Procurement

  • Import/Export documentation
  • Liaise with shipping companies and suppliers to import orders
  • Dealing with procurement queries
  • Ordering from and liaising with suppliers
  • Chasing orders with suppliers to ensure timely delivery
  • Manging the procurement inbox in the absence of the Procurement Manager
  • Participating in random stock checks

The applicant will have the following skills and experience:

  • Capable of independent, self-motivated working
  • Strong administration experience
  • Diligent
  • Attention to detail
  • Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite
  • Methodical and organised
  • Experience of working in a fastpaced Manufacturing environment

Desirable but not essential:


  • Experience in the Marine industry
  • Experience in Sage 50 accounting software
  • Experience in procurement

Details of the role:


  • 40 hours per week
  • Monday to Friday 8am 5pm
