Tableau Specialist to join our international team.
You will be working remotely with the need to go to our client amazing offices a minimum of two days per week in Coventry.
Role Overview:
We are looking for an experienced
Tableau Developer to join our growing team.
The responsibilities of a Tableau Developer include understanding business requirements, creating suitable and performant data models, designing reports and dashboards and working with stakeholders to deliver those reports to front line users but although this job description aims to cover the majority of the responsibilities these can change alongside the wider team and the role.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Scoping out new report requirements working with a wide range of stakeholders (central, regional, market)
- Determining the most effective solution to fulfil new requirements and based on that either create a new LMS system change request that is handed over to the change team for implementation or a new report request to be planned and developed by the analyst through Tableau / Excel.
- Deliver regular Global Learning reports (weekly, fortnightly, monthly, quarterly and annual)
- Improve existing reporting and analysis processes where possible, to streamline tasks, improve data quality, reduce costs and minimise business continuity risks.
- Develop and maintain Local Work Instructions to ensure business continuity
- Support Reporting and Analytics team members with technical questions for SQL, Tableau.
Essential Skills:
- Experience within Tableau Online is essential
- Tableau Online (data prep and report development)
- A solid understanding of SQL, relational databases, and normalization.
- Proficiency in use of query and reporting analysis tools.
- Competency in Excel (macros, pivot tables, etc.)
- Extensive experience in developing, maintaining and managing Tableau driven dashboards & analytics and working knowledge of Tableau administration/architecture.
- Understanding data and making recommendations
- PowerPoint (basic ability to use)
