Position Summary

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Work cross functionally across our Heme teams to develop, deliver and evaluate training programs, curricula and corresponding training materials and programs for commercial colleagues with a focus on field representatives and field leadership
  • Leading Prelaunch and Launch readiness training activities for International Heme field teams
  • Designing all relevant training modules and onboarding materials/curriculum in accordance with Medical, Marketing, Regulatory and Legal guidance
  • Proactively identify training needs and develop effective strategies for deployment to field teams
  • Organize, facilitate and continually improve field team(s) training and orientation, launch meetings and the rollout of new materials
  • Proactively conduct ongoing communications with field management and other key stakeholders to identify training needs and develop specific training objectives and strategies to meet those needs
  • Represent Learning and Development in brand and business planning and product launches and/or label expansions
  • Partner with HR team to ensure alignment with company learning and development philosophy
  • Manage the identification and selection of vendors as well as manage subsequent relationships and projects relating to field training
  • Stay abreast of learning, training and development best practices and current trends in pharmaceutical and life science industries utilizing current advances within digital, live, and virtual platforms
Required Education Level

Bachelor's degree in business or sciences

Required Experience

The individual will have one or more of the following qualifications:

  • Significant specialty pharmaceutical / biotechnology sales training experience (or equivalent leadership position within organization) or,
  • Significant specialty pharmaceutical / biotechnology Marketing or Sales experience
Required Knowledge/Skills

  • Experience in adult education principles including competency modelling preferred
  • Demonstrates a sense of urgency in a manner that instils confidence in their ability to execute our plans and anticipate and mitigate risk
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage projects that require collaboration across functional areas including Marketing, Market Research, Market Access, Medical Affairs, HR, Corporate Compliance, etc.
  • Strong leadership, collaboration and management competencies and business acumen
  • Proven project management, presentation, interpersonal skills as well as verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required
