Working Hours:
Monday - Friday (Office Hours) Office based

Due to rapid Growth within their demand, our Barnsley based client are looking for a couple of Purchasing Administrators to come and join their team


Main Responsibilities of the Purchasing Administrator

  • Creating Purchase Orders for materials
  • Provide operational support in terms of production, scheduling and purchasing.
  • To conduct admin support for supplier contract maintenance.
  • Chase Supplier Purchase Order Delivery when required
  • Tracking Orders and ensuring timely deliveries
  • Maintaining and updating inventory records
  • Checking stock levels and ordering new stock when necessary and reporting any discrepancies
  • Analysing inventory trends for future stock orders
  • Ensure compliance with QHSE policies and procedures
  • Ensure all orders have relevant dates to support the weekly forecast of inbound goods to the warehouse team to assist with their capacity planning and the management of customer expectations around deliveries
  • Ensure daily reports are worked for deliveries due but unfulfilled for relevant suppliers to reduce purchase orders outstanding
  • Ensure that relevant reporting information on invoice processing is up to date.
  • Weekly review of open supplier compliance.

Experience and Skills required

  • Previous experience within a purchasing/procurement role.
  • Selfefficient in work planning and proactiveness
  • Have a "hands on" attitude
  • Be confident in decision making
