Learning Support Assistant - About the role:

This Manchester primary school have a demand for patient, diligent and compassionate Learning Support Assistants who can work in and out of class focusing on the academic and social development of their students across Early Years, KS1 & KS2.


Learning Support Assistant - This role will offer you the opportunity to:

  • Support a student on a 1:1 basis
  • Assist class teachers whilst focusing on a student
  • Work across EYFS, KS1 & KS2 classrooms
  • Gain invaluable school & classroom based experience
  • Build & develop your classroom knowledge & practice
  • Work as apart of a cohesive teaching team
  • Experience of working within a school environment
  • Prior experience of SEN / 1:1 work
  • Display confident classroom management and behaviour strategies
  • Good availability, being able to work under short notice
  • Be resilient, reliable and passionate
  • Patient and compassionate manner
  • Can work independently but communicates strongly with others
