***This is an exciting opportunity to play a critical role in supporting a key strategic priority for the University of Warwick, the STEM Grand Challenge programme, for three years.

The STEM Grand Challenge Programme was established in 2018 to reimagine the way we deliver discovery-led and translational STEM research in a data-driven era, and how we inspire and teach future generations of scientists and engineers.

We are working with our Academic Departments and Faculties to consider the key enablers of innovation and scientific discovery in a changing world.

The STEM Grand Challenge aims to transform the way we think about, and deliver, science by building on our existing strengths and capabilities, whilst adapting and responding to new opportunities and cross-disciplinary global challenges.

To support these ambitious plans for STEM growth and transformation, and to tackle issues with ageing infrastructure in Chemistry, Physics and Engineering, we are building a new £425m Science and Engineering Precinct in the heart of our campus.

This 10-year, multi-phase programme will begin with the development of a c24,000sqm innovative cross-disciplinary STEM Research and Education building, designed to support teams across a range of STEM disciplines.

The capital programme is about to complete RIBA (Royal Institute of British Architects) Stage 3 with the first phase of construction due to commence within the next two years.

The role will involve working with academic departments, architects and our Estates team, as well as other key stakeholders as we work our way through the next RIBA stages.

We are looking for someone who has excellent organisation skills, governance support experience, great team working and communication skills, and is keen to help us achieve the ambitions of this exciting capital and academic transformation programme.
