Whitchurch Silk Mill Trust is seeking a trustee with a legal background


On the retirement of one of the trustees in 2023, the Trust will lose a long-serving member of the Board who, as a solicitor, regularly provides the Board and Mill Director with valuable advice on a range of matters.

So we are now looking to appoint a trustee to provide expertise in this field. Whitchurch Silk Mill Trust aims to maintain a board of trustees with a wide range of skills and experience.


If you have knowledge or experience of the law (preferably general commercial and/or charity regulation (governance) and/or property) and are currently or were recently practising and would like to contribute to the work of this working museum, we would like to hear from you.

(For clarity, the Trust is in a position to seek external legal advice where necessary and is aware of the restrictions on Board members' ability to provide professional advice.)
