Over the past two years we have made considerable strides in developing our approach and launching it with our teams across the organisation.


It is against this backdrop that we are seeking an exceptional Associate Director of Improvement and Transformation to lead the development and implementation of our approach across the Trust.


The Associate Director of Improvement and Transformation will:

  • Be accountable for developing and implementing the Trust's Improving Together and Transformation programmes, demonstrating value to and impact on all aspects of the Trust's strategic priorities and responds to the needs of the local population and the priorities of the Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire and Berkshire ICS and our place partners in Berkshire West.
  • Monitor progress on the implementation of programmes within the Trust's transformation and continuous improvement plan and provide assurance to the executive that the envisaged benefits from the programmes are being realised.
  • Ensure that the Trust's portfolio of transformation programmes draws on the best external evidence and insight by exploring and working with health and care partners including; Industry, AHSNs, NHSE and other innovation pioneers.
  • Lead the Improving Together Team and support them to become the "centre of excellence" envisaged in the Trust's Improving Together strategy. This will include rolling out training on improvement methods, project and change management to all staff across the Trust.
  • Lead the Trust's Transformation team who are responsible for the delivery of all the Trustwide programmes developing a clear programme management approach including governance, benefits realisation and governance
