The General Manager of this well run country style, modern and contemporary hotel is seeking a
Head Chefwho can put their own mark on the kitchen and push standards forward.

The hotel, which is situated in a prime site in York, offers 2AA rosette dining in the restaurant, Afternoon teas, Sunday lunches, private dining, events for 60covers and is very popular with both locals and tourists.

The hotel prides itself on providing menus featuring modern British dishes made using local fresh ingredients which showcase the great British flavours on offer.

As
Head Chef you will lead a brigade of 7 Chefs so good leadership, organisational and communications skills are essential to ensure the kitchen is performing well.

This is an exciting role for an enthusiastic and ambitious
Head Chef as you will also have full autonomy on the menus.

Requirements:

A focused and ambitious Head Chef who has previous experience working in a similar multi outlet hotel to a minimum of 2AA rosette standard.

A passionate, enthusiastic, foodie to take over the reigns of this popular hotel.
