Description

Our client, an East Midlands Authority, is looking for an experience social worker to join their District Child Protection Team.

They offer hybrid working opportunities, training and a team of officers and assistants to support their social workers. They also offer 9-day fortnights as standard.


Responsibilities of the role:


  • Undertaking child and parenting assessments.
  • Carrying out court work.
  • Progressing Child in Need and Child Protection plans.
  • Writing reports and presenting cases to Review Child Protection Conferences.
  • Picking up new cases from Initial Child Protection Conference.
  • Chairing core group meetings.

Requirements of the role:


  • Social Work degree or equivalent.
  • SW England registered.
  • Full clean UK Driving License.
  • Access to own car.
