The Role


An exciting opportunity has arisen for an office-based Hire Co-Ordinator to join the growing Southby Production's team on a permanent basis.

The main role will be to support the hire team whilst providing superior customer service to our valued customers.


Key Tasks

  • To produce quotes and relevant paperwork in a timely manner.
  • Follow up on unconfirmed outstanding quotes and nonreturned equipment.
  • Negotiate and arrange sub hires to cover equipment shortages.
  • Liaise with Project Managers on a daily basis and provide support on projects when required.
  • Liaise with the Warehouse to ensure the correct equipment is prepped and deprepped.
  • Use HireTrack to coordinate equipment for wet and dry hires.

Key Responsibilities

  • Be the primary point of contact for dry hire equipment rental.
  • Support the Project Managers with wet hires and subhires.
  • Chase late returns in consultation with job handlers.
  • To provide excellent customer service to our clients at all times.
  • Build strong customer relationships.
  • Seek feedback from clients after a hire and try to secure repeat business.
  • Spot inefficiencies and make suitable suggestions of improvements.
  • Assist in purchasing equipment and spares as requested by other team members.
  • Represent Southby Productions brand at all times.
  • Liaise with other employees and complete bespoke projects
  • Other duties as and when required including communicating appropriately with internal and external contacts.
  • Read and understand health & safety documentation so that you can assess risks and write method statements for events you are responsible for.
  • Monitor Health & Safety across the business and report any concerns to the relevant Head of Department or a Director.

Requirements:


  • Focus on excellent customer service and attention to detail.
  • A personality that thrives in time dependant and highpressure environment.
  • Highly selfmotivated with a flexible 'can do' attitude and able to work on own initiative.
  • Audio production experience is preferred but not mandatory.

Hours: 9am to 5pm on Monday to Friday, however, there will occasionally be the need to start earlier or finish later to accommodate our client's needs.


Holiday:28 days (including Bank Holidays)


Salary:
Dependant on skills and experience.

Unit 4 Union Centre, Hillbottom Road, Sands Industrial Estate, High Wycombe, HP12 4HJ
