How you'll spend your time_:
_
- Support budgeting and bookkeeping procedures
- Checking to make sure payments, amounts and records are correct.
- Field supplier account queries.
- Sorting out incoming and outgoing daily post and answering any queries.
- Managing petty cash transactions.
- Assisting Credit Control and chasing debt.
- Assisting with intercompany transactions.
- Generate and submit VAT returns.
- Support and assist the sales admin team.
- Matching supplier deliveries to the corresponding purchase orders and invoices. Ensuring the correct quantities have been delivered and correctly charged.
- Check the bank transactions daily, informing sales admin of any pro forma payments and ensuring we have the correct invoices for each transaction.
- Daily administrative tasks which may include helping other departments.
- Track stocks of office supplies and place orders when necessary
- Manage agendas/travel arrangements/appointments etc. for the senior management
- Create and update records and databases with personnel, financial and other data

- You're a stickler for accuracy and can prioritise effectively to meet the varying deadlines that come with this type of role
- You're a people person as not only will you be a part of a lively bunch in the office, you will spend a lot of time talking to managers, customers and suppliers.
- You can work your way around excel and tend to spot opportunities to make processes more efficient
- You have experience in bookkeeping and office administration for a small company (this one is 6 million turnover)
