Description
The Boltons Care Home in Reading is looking for an experienced Night/Day Care Assistant. To promote and deliver personalised care and to create and promote a calm and trusting atmosphere throughout the night/day. You will work within a team ensuring to maintain residents' dignity, independence and personal safety.

Duties and responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Support residents with all aspects of personal care, whilst promoting and maintaining independence.
  • To identify and meet the social, emotional and cultural needs of residents and participate in the organisation of personcentred engagement.
  • Support residents to use the environment to its full potential, including the outdoor living space.
  • To understand the home Care policies and procedures.
  • To ensure the home is safe and secure throughout the night/day.
  • To ensure that all night/day documentations are completed and signed for.

Desirable attributes:

  • Ability to communicate well, both written and verbally.
  • A proactive individual who is able to work within a team.
  • Ability to organise and prioritise workload.
  • Interest in development and learning new skills
  • Experience in care required

Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time, Permanent


Salary:
£11.00-£11.50 per hour
