It manages investments on a discretionary basis for individuals, trusts, charities, companies and pensions as well as collective investment schemes.

Role summary - key tasks


We are currently hiring for a Marketing Associate to provide support for the Marketing & Communications team here at Ruffer.

Key responsibilities

Supporting our events

  • Supporting various teams on their events, in person, online and external
  • Liaising with third party event companies on Ruffer's behalf
  • Meeting organisational deadlines eg packing and ordering merchandise, booking couriers etc
  • Researching, budgeting and planning different events
  • Using our events system to manage invitations and marketing
Marketing support

  • Contact management (marketing lists, CRM)
  • Campaign management (Green Line and other routine monthly marketing)
  • PR and social media monitoring
  • Marketing analytics website and content statistics
  • Content distribution working with third party partners to get our content distributed
  • Compliance liaison
  • Logistic support for marketing (arranging podcasts etc)

Design support:


  • Literature updates (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, InDesign)
  • Website updates via CMS, Google Analytics reporting
Communications support

  • Support with creating and managing internal communications
  • Supporting our writers with creating content for social media
  • Supporting the events team with drafting invites/landing pages

Team support:


  • General administration tasks for the team

Other:


To the extent not already covered:

  • Anything else that may be reasonably requested.

Skills and experience:


  • Strong organisational and planning skills
  • Experience editing documents in Excel, PowerPoint and Word
  • Good eye for detail, proof reading skills and a real hunger to get things 'right'
  • Curiosity and desire to learn new skills
Desirable

  • InDesign, Illustrator or Photoshop experience (training will be provided)
  • 12 years in a marketing or communications role (not essential but proof of where the above skills have been applied would be beneficial)
  • Writing skills or experience
