Your new role
Enhance their field of engineering as well as assisting in the winning of new profitable commissions.

In addition, the need is to strengthen the succession plan; the potential is to progress to a Director role in the medium term with key accountability for their discipline throughout the UK.

• Provide leadership and strategic direction to their discipline, ensuring growth to turnover, profitability whilst enhancing reputation
• Build upon and further develop the already strong engineering capability
• Experienced in assisting in the profitable management of MEP design teams
• Highly credible individual, capable of building strong, lasting relationships with clients (internal/external); wins business through exceeding client expectations and gaining repeat business
• Client facing, a capable networker who naturally builds confidence and trust; an excellent communicator.
• Strong design emphasis; experienced in successfully leading teams responsible for engineering design projects from inception to completion; deep understanding of all associated overall design coordination
• Encourage the free flow of innovative, commercially viable design solutions
• Understands and recognises opportunities for cross selling within the wider group
• Modern, progressive and collaborative leadership style happy to share knowledge and experience
• Fully aware of all relevant legislation, rules, codes etc, especially health & safety
• Focused on quality of service delivery and satisfying client need
• Currently a recognised senior professional with the scope to progress to a Director position within the medium term
• A confident and experienced leader with a proven track record.
• Degree qualified Chartered Engineer
• Leadership qualities with demonstrable people skills
• A blend of commercial, technical and business development skills
• Spend and commit time to industry events
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, particularly demonstrating the ability to influence and negotiate both internally and externally
• Gravitas, presence and credibility
• Selfconfident, charismatic, passionate, innovative
• Diplomatic, proactive, energetic individual
