Continental Landscapes has an exciting opportunity to join our Operational Team as a Supervisor to manage additional works, small projects, minor landscaping and ad-hoc work.

You will oversee a small team of up to 5 operatives and have the ability to undertake a variety of tasks.


You will have a good understanding of managing individuals, teams and contract performance, with a detailed knowledge of health and safety legislation, regulations and safe working practices.


Additional skills required:

  • Experience of handling difficult and potential confrontational situations
  • Ability to organise and plan workloads
  • Financial experience including the preparation of detailed and fully costed quotations and estimates
  • Ability to carry out detailed quotations and estimates, generate income streams and meet agreed financial targets
  • You will also have all necessary skill to be able to undertake general additional grounds works within the Landscape industry.
You will have a good level of written and computer skills, strong communication skills e.g. leading and managing performance of teams.

You will set a personal example of commitment and enthusiasm. With excellent customer care skills, you will be service delivery focussed.


Qualifications:

  • Full UK Driving License essential
  • RHS 1/2 (desirable)
  • NPTC PA1 PA6 (desirable)
  • NEBOSH / IOSH qualification (desirable)
  • Chainsaw Licence (desirable)
  • Chapter 8, Part 1 Road Works (desirable)

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
£27,000.00 per year

- grounds maintenance: 5 years (preferred)
