Senior Lecturer in Media Writing

THE ROLE:


  • Teaching and research in the areas of social media and writing for the media industry
  • PhD supervision
  • We are particularly interested in applicants whose research and/or practice focus on underrepresented voices in media & culture and/or script writing.
  • Academic and professional experience is essential together with a relevant postgraduate degree. The ability to work as part of a team and flexible working patterns are also essential.
  • The School of Film, Media & Communication at the University of Portsmouth came into existence on 1st August 2018 and aims to be at the forefront of cuttingedge technologies within the Creative & Cultural Industries, covering Journalism, Film and Television Production, Media and Film Studies and Creative Writing in a vibrant, entrepreneurial, wellresourced, crossdisciplinary environment.
