If you're looking for a fresh start this year, we've added a brand new role to our structure We are now recruiting for an experienced HR Advisor to provide first line HR advice to our people managers across the business.


This really is a great opportunity for a HR Advisor to work in a fast paced environment, providing a proactive HR service to site management teams, and assisting them with a variety of HR initiatives.

This is a varied, generalist role, where you will gaininvaluable, hands-on experience to really develop your HR career with a growing business.


Key Duties for an HR Advisor:

  • Act as the first point of contact for all HR related queries.
  • Provide an effective advisory support to the business on HR casework, ensuring efficiency and consistency.
  • Support recruitment activities, including producing job descriptions, person specifications and arranging job evaluations.
  • Participate in selection activities and liaise closely with the Talent Acquisiton Team.
  • Maintain and review the Company Induction process, ensuring that all colleagues have access to a good onboarding process.
  • Work with line managers to support the identification of individual training and learning requirements.
  • Maintain the HR information system to ensure accurate MI can be produced.
  • Provide accurate data and statistics in a clear, concise format.
  • Provide support on HR operational projects, such as restructuring, TUPE and other project work.
  • Letter writing, such as changes to terms and conditions, invites and outcomes to hearings.
  • Write and design site communications, such as briefings, posters etc.
  • Ensure the delivery of Colleague Engagement Plans, working closely with the Benefits and Charity Champions.
  • Support the delivery of specific oneoff projects to support the HR Strategic Plan
  • Build trusted relationships with the site teams and management.

Qualifications


We're looking for someone who is adaptable and flexible in their approach, with the ability to multi-task and juggle a number of priorities.

You should be confident in providing HR advice, with a good, working understanding of HR policies/ procedures anda sound knowledge of UK employment legislation.


A positive, can-do approach really is essential for this role, as is the ability to communicate and build strong relationships at all levels.

The ideal person should be based in or around either Evesham or Lutterworth, as there will be a requirement to travelbetween these 2 sites.


  • An up to date, working knowledge of UK employment legislation.
  • A sound knowledge of HR policies, procedures and best practice.
  • Proven experience in advising on a variety of HR matters (such as grievance, disciplinary, performance management, absence etc.).
  • Experience of proactively working with people related data.
  • Experience of working in a fastpaced, changing environment.
  • Confident approach, with the ability to challenge information.
  • Has a proactive, 'cando' attitude.
  • Takes responsibility and builds own credibility.
  • Flexible and able to balance changing priorities.
  • Effective communicator at all levels, with the ability to forge strong relationships.
  • Logical thinker and can recognise how situations may be impacted by another.
  • Excellent IT skills including all MS Office packages and experience using a HR system.
  • Having or working towards a CIPD qualification.
  • Full UK Driving Licence and willing to travel to other sites.
