We have an exciting opportunity for existing band 3's or band 2 health care assistants who wish to join the Asthma Allergy Service.


Our aim is to further develop your nursing skills to give a broader contribution to patient care whilst in the department.

We are looking for someone who is professional and a positive role model within the team.

You would be involved in a multitude of clinics primarily for the asthma and allergy services but may be called upon to help cross cover colleagues in Medical outpatients/Respiratory centre.

You will need proven experience in a caring role and understanding of acute hospital environment and the role of HCA

Be willing to develop additional skills corresponding to speciality

Previous experience of working with the general public

Experience of using a computer

Ability to work as a team member

Ability to work under own initiative

Flexibility and adaptable to shift/work patterns

Demonstrates clarity and breadth in use of verbal and written communications in relation to our patient group
