JOB OVERVIEW
The University of Sheffield International College is seeking a management tutor to teach on our Pre-master's Management module.

The post holder will be part of the College's Business and Economics Team.


ABOUT THE ROLE
The Management tutor will be responsible for teaching Management, a Level 6 module delivered to groups of international students. The teaching role includes marking assessments and the provision of feedback to students.

The post holder will also act as a module coordinator.

This involves leading the teaching team, carrying out Quality Assurance procedures, and ensuring that teaching materials are up to date.

The role also requires the creation of both formative and summative assessments.


ABOUT YOU

  • Experience in teaching Management in UK Higher Education, Further Education or Sixth form, or equivalent teaching experience in a related field.
  • Experience in writing and marking assessments at a minimum of RQF level 3 (Alevel/ Foundation level) or equivalent experience
  • A flexible and adaptable approach to work, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure
  • Competence in teaching and administrative IT skills, using a Virtual Learning Environment (e.g. Blackboard)
