We are looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant who really cares about helping students to succeed
:


We are looking for someone who is kind, reliable and has a passion for working in the classroom or one-to-one, is enthusiastic and builds rapport well with staff and students alike.


To be successful in this role, you will have knowledge of current practices on supporting children's learning and behaviour management strategies, as well as a good understanding of areas of learning such as literacy, numeracy and science.

You will hold an NVQ for Teaching Assistants or be able to demonstrate equivalent knowledge, skills, and experience.

This is an ideal position if you are considering a career in teaching.

It will give you an opportunity to see different teaching and learning styles, as well as experience and appreciate wider school life.

You will have the ability to attend the de Ferrers Trust 'Teacher training seminars'.

Eton Park is a purpose-built academy for students between the ages of 7 and 11 that opened in October 1991.

We have a very generous site, which includes playing fields, a hard surface playground, a trim trail, an ICT theatre, gardens and a nature conservation area.
