Our client based in Bedfordshire are recruiting for their brand-new site due to officially open in the new year and are seeking a Transport Co-ordinator to join their fantastic team.

Job Role

Directed by the Team Manager, perform tasks associated to the operational and compliance requirements of the department whilst ensuring a safe working environment.


  • Responsibilities
  • Acting as back up to the Transport TMs when requested.
  • Complete driver's infringements when required take appropriate action.
  • Ensure drivers are following the rules and regulations as per EU and WTD including Domestic rules.
  • Drive transport H&S.
  • Ensure vehicles and driver cards are downloaded when required by company standards.
  • Ensure defects / VORs are actioned through correct means including spot checks to ensure these duties are being followed at all times by the transport teams.
  • Ensure all processes and procedures are adhered to.
  • Confident in helping Drivers ensure al relevant activities and paperwork is complete and legal
  • Assisting in recruitment with management team and induction processes

  • Ability to assist in the gathering and assessment of information from various different formats
  • Ability to assist in identifying and recommending where improvements can be made to the department manager
  • Ability to work in an ambiguous and changing environment
  • Conforming to all health and safety regulations at all times
  • Proactively works with others to maintain effective working relationship with all colleagues
