Description
We are looking for an experienced administrator to support our new Mental Health & Wellness Team.

You will be required to work as part of an administrative team who provide comprehensive and confidential secretarial and administrative support, to support its smooth running, including working on our reception.

Come and be part of one of our newly planned, integrated mental health & wellness teams in Barking & Dagenham.

These new teams merge assessment and recovery teams, removing the need for a two-tier service and no more hand off of patients from one service to another.

We have had new investment in mental health worker posts, peer support workers posts, support time recovery workers and administrators to support the integrated team to work as one around the patient, their families and their social networks.

Our vision is for this new investment to help start a new era in our mental healthcare provision at NELFT, making us among the most holistic, relational and person-centred services in the country.

Our aims include a greater focus on prevention and wellbeing and delivering more integrated and personalised care closer to home.

By working with Primary Care Networks (PCN) and local partners in each borough, NELFT propose to support plans by using a "Neighbourhood Team" model of care to develop multi-agency, integrated and place-based care to support people with serious mental health needs to receive their care closer to home.

In alignment with the Community Mental Health Framework for Adults, we intend for our teams to be trauma informed and person-centred, putting relationships back into the heart of care.

Starting with NELFT
NELFT place a great deal of importance on new starters being properly welcomed and inducted into the Trust.

All new starters will join the Trust on the first Monday of each month and will undertake a comprehensive induction of up to two weeks which will include mandatory training, systems training and the allocation of equipment.

As part of the process new starters will have the opportunity to also meet the executive team, senior managers and attend a number of drop in sessions focusing in engagement, health and wellbeing and key processes.

The induction will be held at our head office in Rainham, Essex.

COVID-19 Vaccination
We continue to encourage all staff to ensure that they have been double vaccinated and received their booster.

We recognise that taking the vaccine provides the best defence against COVID 19 for our patients, our staff and their families.
