As a subsidiary of ESI, MacDermid Performance Solutions Services is the Shared Services business for ESI in the United Kingdom providing services such as Finance, HR, Payroll and IT.


Job Purpose:


This role will provide much needed support to the UK HR Leader and the UK HR Team by taking responsibilbility of a number of key actions at a nationwide level as well as shared service functionality with HR Administration and HR communications.

The job holder will need to be highly organised, have excellent adminitrative skills and the ability to coordinate multiple workstreams and calendars.


Responsibilities:


  • Oversee the administration of UK wide employee benefits such as the company car scheme, cycle to work scheme, private medical cover and employee medical screenings.
  • Manage the UK HR calendar ensuring that all UK activities are logged, deadlines are up to date, and actions are communicated to the relevant HR Generalist.
  • Support with annual contract renewals for a number of employee benefits and services, by liaising with the relevant department and the external provider to ensure all data is available and contracts are approved and renewed in a timely manner.
  • Be the first point of contact for any UK wide HR service requests ensuing that minor requests are dealt with and more specific requests are allocated to the most relevant HR Generalist or escalated to the HR Lead.
  • Support the HR team to adhere to SOX audit compliancy and payroll deadlines.
  • Manage any UK wide HR inboxes or ticketing systems when these are in place.
  • Support the HR Lead with any administrative duties and adhoc projects.
  • Support with any recruitment activity such as sourcing, screening, interviewing, selection and onboarding.
  • Provide additional HR support to the Wantage HR function during periods of peak activity.

Requirements & Qualifications:


  • Experience in a professional Administrative role or the ability to demonstrate exceptional organization skills.
  • Developing a career in HR with the opportunity to study for Level 3 CIPD will be provided.

Skills:


  • Good IT and keyboard skills: MS Windows, Outlook, excel and MS Teams in particular.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Highly organized and an efficient planner.
  • Confidence to liaise with internal and external colleagues at all levels.
  • Willingness to support others and learn.
  • Understanding the importance of confidentiality and data security.

Competencies:

Highly organised, with a focus on planning and coordinating others.


Education:


  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Administration or HR Related Field
