Recroot are looking for a Care Assistant to join our client based with Liverpool City Council.

Starting asap, working 30-40 hours a week (night shifts)

Must have Health & Social Care Level 3 and (HCC) Manual Handling Trained

The night staff at Sedgemoor Hub consist of a team of 14 Reablement Assistants who delivery hands on care through the night to vulnerable patients who have recently been discharged from hospital.

We want to ensure service users reach their reablement potential and return home wherever possible. You should be able to follow individual care plans, risk assessments and ensure records are kept up to date.

Good communication skills are a must Moving and handling is part of daily tasks and relevant training to do this safely will be provided.

You must demonstrate an awareness of relevant CQS legislation and safeguarding. Both of which are of paramount importance to our service. Following guidance is crucial but you should also demonstrate an understanding of and commitment to person centred care.
