We are looking to recruit an assistant Legal Cashier to support within a busy department, to assist in the day to day running of the accounts function to include:- General accounts administration;
- Posting monies on account
- Client/ office transfers
- Posting invoices
- Client balances
- Banking
- Aged Debt
- WIP reporting
- Use of a case management reporting system
- Working closely with fee earners to process payments and invoices.
- Adhere to Solicitors Accounts Rules at all times
- Lexis Nexis/SOS is advantageous but not essential
- Work as a member of the team
- Field calls and take accurate messages treating all internal clients and other callers whether face to face or over the telephone in a polite, courteous and professional manner.
- Be able to work well under pressure with a high standard of accuracy and have a methodical and logical approach to work.
Full time hours: 35 per week working Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm with 1 hour lunch break.
