Description
We are looking to recruit an assistant Legal Cashier to support within a busy department, to assist in the day to day running of the accounts function to include:

  • General accounts administration;
  • Posting monies on account
  • Client/ office transfers
  • Posting invoices
  • Client balances
  • Banking
  • Aged Debt
  • WIP reporting
  • Use of a case management reporting system
  • Working closely with fee earners to process payments and invoices.
  • Adhere to Solicitors Accounts Rules at all times
  • Lexis Nexis/SOS is advantageous but not essential
  • Work as a member of the team
  • Field calls and take accurate messages treating all internal clients and other callers whether face to face or over the telephone in a polite, courteous and professional manner.
  • Be able to work well under pressure with a high standard of accuracy and have a methodical and logical approach to work.
Salary - dependent upon experience and negotiable

Full time hours: 35 per week working Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm with 1 hour lunch break.
