Position overview
We are looking for a friendly and efficient receptionist and admin assistant to join our team.

The role will be split into, 3 days on reception and covering reception duties and the other 2 days will be working with the admin teams providing support and working on individual projects.

This may vary from time to time when reception holiday cover is needed.


Receptionist Duties

  • Taking and directing calls through the switchboard in a professional and polite manner.
  • Signing in and Greeting visitors with a positive, helpful attitude, answering any questions, and directing them to where they may need to go
  • Providing refreshments for meetings
  • Receiving and signing for deliveries, notifying the recipient of their delivery
  • Recording and Franking Post, then deliver to the post box at the end of each day
  • Cheques given from the accounts department, to be put into correct envelopes ready for post
  • Booking meeting rooms and maintaining meeting rooms
  • Adhoc administrative duties
  • Keep check of head office provisions
  • Assisting teams with Archiving documents and files
  • Liaise with buying department on stationary stock checks
  • Keeping reception area tidy and presentable

Administrative Support duties

  • Assisting the drawings department, providing holiday cover
  • Assisting the accounts department e.g. filing, checking invoices and tickets
  • Typing letters and minutes for Directors
  • Supporting other departments with various admin duties

Requirements:


  • Customer service skills
  • Punctual, efficient & good time management skills
  • Attentive
  • Good verbal communication skills
  • MS Office skills (Word, Outlook, Excel)
