PROJECT MANAGER
Location:
Head Office based in Maidenhead, with the option of hybrid working
Contract Type:
Fixed Term Contract, 12 months
Salary:
Circa £50,000 per annum, depending upon experience
Hours:
Full Time, 37 hours per week

Today, over a century after we first began, our work continues through our staff, supporters and volunteerswho preserve our unique cultural, horticultural and architectural heritage and ensure that the stories of those who died are told._
About this Role and You
Recently accredited by UNESCO for our casualty archive, we are about to embark on the upgrade of one of the jewels in our crown - our Casualty Database.
It plays a vital role in archival research by military, political, academic and public sectors.
The information made available by our website, app and personal access to our archives is fundamental to furthering understanding of the human impact of the WorldWars and the need for perpetual commemoration.
You will be joining a highly motivated and enthusiastic project team whose challenge is to increase key functionality of the database and to deliver ever more information on those we commemorate to inspire and educate a global audience
As a strong and resilient leader with excellent stakeholder management capabilities, you will be skilled at undertaking critical problem analysis and resolution around risk and issues management.
Attention to detail, commitment to quality and a sound grasp of cost control principles, to ensure the project remains within budget are also required.

What We Offer:
- Hybrid working is currently being trialled, with everyone working from home each Friday. You will be required to attend the office for a minimum of two days each week, with Tuesdays being mandatory. Any other days are in prior agreement with your Line Manager
- A generous holiday allocation of 25 days plus paid public holidays and office closure between Christmas and New Year
- Generous Pension Scheme, with the CWGC contributing up to 15%
- Up to six times salary Life Assurance cover
