This company is an established and successful commercial catering equipment design and supply business with a key client list including some of the best-known restaurant names on the High Street.

They are seeking a diligent & well organised individual for this position within the office team at their offices located in Sawston, Cambridge, in modern premises with on-site parking.

The role will be geared around providing a full after-sales customer service centred around the repairs & maintenance side of the business, and include amongst other functions

  • Arranging and managing engineer attendance for aftersales service visits
  • Processing both pre & post service call data associated with engineer visits, providing quotations where necessary, placing related supplier orders, raising sales invoices and health & safety related information where applicable
  • Maintaining client records and engineering databases
Key attributes for a successful applicant will be

  • The ability to process incoming enquiries in a timely manner
  • Good communication skills allied to a clear and logical mindset
  • A proactive, customer orientated and focused approach with a "can do" attitude
  • A good team player but someone also comfortable and good at working under their own initiative
  • A reasonable level of competence with standard IT software packages such as MS Word and Excel.
The role will be perfectly suited for those able to work well under pressure and prioritise customer care.

Applications will be considered from those entering the job market for the first time or at an early stage of their careers but who demonstrate the required basic skill set and attitude.

Salary will be in the range £18,000 to £22,000 pa
