Description

As a control room operative, you will work in a prestigious airport, providing a service to the highest standards, with great communication skills and self-presentation.

This site is known for providing rapid, reliable, and efficient delivery to more than220 countries and territories, and so as a member of the control room, you will be required to support the staff and visitors to ensure a smooth day to day running of the site.


Position:
Control Room Operative


Pay rate:
£12.14 per hour


Shift Pattern: 4 days, 4 off, 4 nights, 4 off

Shifts are 12hrs to 18.00hrs days and 18.00 to 06.00hrs nights


Location:
CM24 1FE


Duties

  • To operate, monitor and prioritise all security systems located within the control centre in an effective manner
  • Ensure that all work is undertaken in compliance with site specific assignment instructions and current legislations
  • To record all events and actions monitored from within the control room
  • To respond and react to any incidents or security issues that may arise
  • To work along aside the emergency services and other security providers to ensure high standards
  • To produce written reports on incidents and occurrences in line with client requirements

Requirements to apply

  • SIA guarding license
  • Good communication skills and work well within a team
  • Computer literate
