Mortgage Review Specialist
Join the dynamic and award-winning team at Responsible Life, a leading specialist in later life lending in the UK.

We are currently seeking a Mortgage Review Specialist to play a crucial role in our Compliance Review Team, ensuring the highest standards in our network of Advisers.


In collaboration with our dedicated team of Administrators, this position involves the meticulous assessment of case files, ensuring both the suitability and accuracy of information and advice provided to our valued customers.

As a Mortgage File Checker, you will also be responsible for identifying potential risks before final file sign-off.


This is a full time, hybrid position, with half of our team working from Plymouth, and the other half based remotely in Chepstow.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Conduct thorough case file reviews to uphold the highest standards
  • Evaluate the suitability and accuracy of advice provided and information gathered
  • Identify and communicate potential risks based on the advice provided
  • Collaborate with Advisers daily, offering relevant assistance with processes
  • Maintain internal communication with the Compliance team regarding any issues or concerns
  • Sign off on files as completed once reviewed


As a Mortgage Review Specialist, you will bring a meticulous and detail-oriented approach, backed by previous experience in roles where methodical work and high concentration levels are essential.

Experience, Attributes & Qualifications:


  • CeMAP qualification is an essential requirement for this role
  • CeRER would be highly desirable
  • Exceptional attention to detail with a systematic work approach
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
  • Excellent IT skills
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Pay:
£25,000.00-£29,000.00 per year
