Sales Administrator

Location:
Bridgeton, Glasgow.


Term:
Ongoing Temporary.


Salary:
£11.50 per hour.


Working Days:
Monday - Friday

***This is a full time and Temporary ongoing position working business hours of 38.3 hours per week. (50 minutes lunch).

Your role as Sales Administrator will initially be helping clear backlog of enquiries and mainly process enquiries through to quotation and general sales admin support using SAP and excel.

Experience with SAP desirable although not essential.
This role will include customer facing activities including processing enquiries and orders through our SAP system, invoicing and shipping.


Main Responsibilities:


  • Process contracts accurately and ensure prices are entered onto SAP accurately and efficiently with the best possible payment terms for each order (to maximise cash flow).
  • Ensure the optimum payment terms are negotiated with vendors/shipping agents and check customer credit insurance
  • Ensure that all orders and SAP transactions are managed in a timely manner to ensure maximum possibility that orders will be accurately executed and delivered on time.
  • Support NE/Spares and Service activities, ensuring best possible communications and processing of orders to begin our business processes effectively and to ensure we close out through the invoicing and shipping processes effectively.
  • Control month end and year end activities to ensure targets are met in line with budget and forecast
  • Coordinate shipping activities including transport bookings and customer communications to ensure that excellent communications take place between logistics and shipping of goods and that the best possible solutions are achieved to deliver goods to our customers and that their contractual terms are respected.
  • Manage enquiry process and ensure quotations are issued within time scales.
  • Coordinate with Supply Chain and Aftermarket Operations to achieve General Spares output
  • Manage data accuracy of all transactions is maintained and that the SAP system holds the most relevant and up to date information related to each business transaction.
  • CRM Data Steward activities
  • Manage accuracy and quality of information contained in each invoice and customer communication to ensure an efficient payment process.
  • To ensure the ISO9001 processes are up to date and managed correctly for the Sales activities carried out.
  • To look at improvement of operating procedures and utilise/develop KPI's to manage improved performance.
