Job Role:
MIG welder


Location:
Rotherham


Rate of pay:
£13.26


Responsibilities:


  • Perform MIG welding on various metal components and structures
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine welding requirements
  • Set up welding equipment and ensure proper settings for each project
  • Operate power tools and hand tools to cut, shape, and grind metal pieces
  • Assemble and fabricate metal parts according to specifications
  • Inspect welds for quality and make necessary adjustments or repairs as needed
  • Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work area

Skills:


  • Proficient in MIG welding techniques and processes
  • Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of metal fabrication principles
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
  • Skilled in using power tools, hand tools, and measuring instruments
  • Familiarity with sheet metal work and basic math calculations
