Transport Co Ordinator - Chichester - Permanent - £25,000 - £28,000 per annum

Due to rapid growth an opportunity has arisen for a transport coordinator at NJS Group, a construction company based in Chichester.

We are looking for a conscientious and professional individual to manage our vehicle fleet. In return we can offer a great salary, excellent company benefits and growth.

Duties and responsibilities:_

Management of our van fleet
Scheduling vehicle servicing and inspections
Liaising closely with our maintenance providers to ensure the effective use of vehicles
Being the group contact for vehicle compliance and monitoring
Taking ownership of fuel and track all usage
Monitor defects and repair costs
Regular briefing and debriefing of drivers
Close monitoring of the transport management systems
Implement new vehicle policies and procedure
Assistance with managing our operator licence vehicles
Previous transport experience is essential
Excellent IT skills
Ability to work within a team and with mínimal supervision
Good communication both written and verbal
Excellent organisation and planning skills
Knowledge of transport legislation
Transport Manager CPC advantageous but not essential
