We are looking for an outgoing, dynamic individual to support our growing sales division that focuses their time on positioning GCT products into a huge variety of electronics manufacturers across industrial, consumer, automotive and many other market sectors.

You will act as the conduit between Sales and Business Operations and other business areas as appropriate to ensure business is processed as efficiently as possible.


Reporting to Sales Manager, the primary role is to support the sales team by completing a range of admin tasks as well as handling inbound enquiries.

Researching and then contacting prospective customers, qualifying opportunities, and bringing the sales process to a close.


Scope

  • The role is primarily desk based.
  • Some accompanied travel to industry events and client visits.
  • Required to develop a good working knowledge of technical products and services.

  • In this role, you will enhance the value of our Salesforce product and related tools, which constitute a key strategic priority in our overall Digital Transformation.
  • Provide Salesforce support for all users.
  • Propose Salesforce improvements arising from support requests.
  • Help handling of administrative functions including user account maintenance, reports and dashboards, security settings, profiles and other routine tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Act as liaison between the outside sales force and other functional areas of the company to ensure projects, parts and orders are wellmanaged throughout the entire presales process, from product specification to sales order entry through to delivery.
  • Maintain sales data contained with database and ensure accurate customer information including but not limited to leads, contacts, accounts and opportunities.
  • Prepare and deliver timely and accurate quotations.
  • Despatch samples for customers as requested.
  • Maintain good relations with prospective and current customers of the company.
  • Coordinate, consolidate and complete information and processes for onboarding of customers and opening of customer accounts.
  • Maintain and manage customer accounts for reporting and commissions for direct salespeople and our External rep partners.
  • Other tasks as appropriate to support the Sales Director and our worldwide sales team.

Requirements:


  • Proven selfstarter with experience of being able to work independently, juggling and prioritizing across workloads and consistently meeting deadlines.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills (both written and oral), preferably with commercial exposure in previous roles.
  • Ability to build effective relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, e.g., sales, finance, operations, marketing & customers.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Team spirited but also be able to work on your own.
  • Ambitious, driven, and results focused.
  • Ideally have an interest in electronics/technology projects.
  • 12 years Salesforce experience.
