Job Title: Communications Officer - Internal Lead (Permanent)

Salary:
£30,000 (FTE) per annum pro rata (Plus Casual User Mileage)


Hours: 30 Hours per week (part time) - We're a flexible organisation and we're happy to talk about flexible working with this role. It's a conversation we're happy to have with you.


Location:
Hybrid Working.
Our office is based at Gadbrook Park, Northwich. Flexibility to work from a variety of locations, including our office at Gadbrook Park, Northwich and home.)

We are looking for a dynamic and talented communications professional to join our small, but perfectly formed, Communications Team at Weaver Vale Housing Trust.

You'll work as the Communications Officer - Internal Lead within the team.


This role plays an absolutely crucial part in developing and delivering internal communication strategies that inform, engage, and inspire our colleagues.

You will require creativity, commitment, imagination, and enthusiasm to embrace the Trust, our culture and drive.

You will develop and deliver internal communication initiatives that inform, engage, and align our employees with our company vision, values, and goals.

You will work closely with various stakeholders to create compelling content, implement effective communication channels, and ensure consistent messaging throughout the organisation.

What Will You Do?


You will lead on the Trusts multi-channel internal communications programme, creating and implementing creative and impactful internal communications campaigns, and platforms that engage and inspire our colleagues.

Internal Communications is key to our success and this role plays a pivotal role in ensuring our colleague culture continues to thrive and develop so that we continue to be an employer of choice with motivated and engaged colleagues.


Minimum Requirements For This Role

  • Grade GCSE 49 / A
  • C (Math's and English) or equivalent level of qualification
  • Full UK driving licence and own transport available.
  • Degree or equivalent number of years' working experience in an Internal Communication arena.
  • Excellent written skills with the ability to adapt style and tone of voice to convey relevant messages accurately and effectively across different channels, to different audiences.
  • Excellent verbal and people/interpersonal skills that will enable the 'story' to be brought to life in communication campaigns.
  • Excellent multimedia skills, including creation of graphics, photographic and video content.
  • Experience of managing collaborative relationships at all levels across an organisation.
  • Additionally, due to the flexible working arrangements with this role, you will need access to a room where you can work and a suitable internet connection.
