(Internally know as an Enablement Assistant)

Location:

Hourly rate:
£11.00


Hours:
Part time (945am to 14.45pm Monday to Friday)

About the role
Leah is a 26 year old lady, who lives at home with her mum in Fair Oak, Eastleigh.

Leah is supported on a 2:1 ratio in the community on a Monday through to Friday, enabling her to access activities and increase her independence.

Leah is fun to support and be around, she really enjoys the activities she takes part in, such as bowling, crazy golf, nature walks, feeding the ducks and music therapy.


Leah has learning disabilities, autism and epilepsy, she will at times become anxious and will require her team members to support her to manage this.

Leah is able to communicate her wants and needs and likes to be around people who are sociable and patient.

We are a not for profit and social enterprise support provider for adults and young adults who have learning disabilities and/or autism.

We support people to live in their own homes, with their own tenancies and our model of support is a practice called Positive Behaviour Support.

Our CEO Jonathan Beebee is a registered Learning Disabilities Nurse and qualified Behaviour Analyst.

We are a medium-sized organisation supporting 35 people across Hampshire, Dorset, Berkshire, and Oxfordshire and with a workforce of just over 200.

As an Enablement Assistant you will have the support of a team of people dedicated to supporting that person.

You will also be able to access support from the Enablement Leader, the Enablement Manager, and the Positive Behaviour Support Clinician who provide you and the team with management and leadership.

Your shift pattern may consist of day shifts, waking nights and sleeps.
