THE ROLE:


The post holder will join the Faculty at an exciting time and will work to deliver a graduate entry medical education (GEM) programme at Portsmouth in conjunction with Kings College London (KCL).

The intention of the course will be to help address the health and wellbeing needs of the Portsmouth, East Hampshire and the Isle of Wight health and care systems.

The Learning Support Tutor will provide high quality learning, skills support and development to students under guidance.

The post holder will contribute to the sourcing, production, evaluation and enhancement of learning support and development materials in a variety of media as well as to provide specific support and development opportunities to students in scientific research methods, higher level mathematics and statistical analysis techniques.


The Learning Support Tutor will work as part of a team providing support within the Medical School and the Faculty of Science and Health more generally, to deliver programmes of skills development and learning support to students on an individual or group basis.
