    Electronics Engineer - Consultant Role

    This is an exciting opportunity to join Awerian Ltd as an Electronics Engineer - Consultant. We are a defence and security technology consultancy comprised of highly skilled scientists and engineers.

    The role is focused on strengthening the UK's Defence and Homeland Security through breakthrough technology. As an Electronic Engineer at Awerian, you will be at the forefront of this innovation race to defend and protect the UK from the latest technological and cyber threats.

    You will have a real-world impact, exploring pioneering concepts by collaborating with elite multi-disciplinary teams. You'll see ideas become a reality as you create impactful solutions through Awerian's rapid approach to design and implementation.

    This is a fantastically challenging, varied, and agile role. As an Electronics Engineer, you will get to tackle diverse, real-world challenges from the ground up, typically involving the whole product life cycle, capturing requirements, designing, developing, documenting, testing, and delivering through to production.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • FPGA firmware development, debugging, and testing
    • DSP design and modelling
    • Signal processing/algorithm design
    • High-speed electronics design
    • RF/Microwave electronics design and simulation
    • Electronics hardware design, schematic capture, and testing
    • Embedded software development, debugging, and testing
    • Experience in C, C#, C++, MATLAB, Python, or Simulink
    • Experience in communications and networking, implementing and/or designing protocols

    Requirements:

    • A relevant degree
    • Proven technical capabilities
