JOB PURPOSE:
To provide an administrative support service to the Scholarship Football &
Education staff under the direction of the Managing Director & Operational managers.

The role will include some basic finance duties and the role may involve the post holder demonstrating their own duties and providing advice and guidance to new employees and others.


JOB CONTEXT:
We are looking for a Scholarship Band 5 Administrator to support our team at our Scarborough base. The successful applicant will work part-time 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday 9am - 1pm. Salary for the role will be
£11, ,238 Pro-rata (FTE £22,183 - £24,491)

The Administrator works within the busy environment of the scholarship administrative provision managing the administration for the programme, providing an administrative, reprographics, budget monitoring and reception service, where excellent organisational skills are essential to deal with the variety of tasks that need to be undertaken.

ACCOUNTABILITIES / MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Operational Issues
Provision of administrative and clerical support in Scholarship as

required.

  • Provision of administrative support for the PDA activities for students.
  • Provision of administrative support to the SEND department as required.
  • Educational visits administration, producing standard EV letters and related documentation, collating rolling consents, reply slips and payments and ensuring that staff are made aware of issues as they arise
  • Be responsible for the effective monitoring of all aspects of student attendance at Scholarship, including liaison with parents and the pastoral teams.
  • Assist in preparation of reports using Scholarship systems as required.
  • Take minutes at various meetings as required.
  • Diary management in relation to role.
  • Assist teaching and nonteaching staff with administration queries.
  • Assist with organisation of Scholarship events and initiatives, liaising with
Team Lead

  • Assisting, if required, in the provision of medical emergency support, recording incidents in the medical register, completing appropriate documentation and liaising with LA, staff and parents as appropriate.
  • Report concerns and obtain support for any issues raised.
Communications
Communicate effectively with other staff, Governors, visitors, contractors, pupils and their families/carers.

  • Undertake reception duties within our stadium setting; act as first point of contact in response to telephone and face to face enquiries.
  • Attend staff meetings and training days by agreement with line manager.
People/Resource
Participate in the Scholarship's performance management scheme. management Assist in maintaining computerised records this involves liaison with the other staff.

  • Undertake some administration relating to updating of kit payments, including handling of small amounts of cash, collecting monies and payments for trips and educational visits.
  • Assist in the induction of new employees.
  • Monitor stock levels, order office materials, equipment and services and check incoming orders.
  • Highlight additional training and supervision needs to build on your skills and knowledge.
  • Participate in training and other learning activities and performance development as required.

  • Be responsible for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children and young people that you are responsible for and come into contact with, by knowing who to report concerns to.
