What is the position?
We are looking for a Team Leader to join our agile and growing team.

The role is varied between office and site based, at times all hands are needed to help out in our properties to get ready for guests or deal with complaints or issues with guests, but most importantly you will help lead the Operations team on a day to day basis at the weekends.


You will manage and ensure the admin team is following the correct onboarding process for new properties on both ours and our partner's platforms.

You will have an understanding of local events in all of our geographic locations, currently Brighton, Hove, Lewes, Worthing and the wider Sussex area, in order to assist in managing availability and rates.


You will be on hand to deal with, systemise and manage all office and property administration and help manage the operations team on a day-to-day basis.

Full training will be given.


The business is growing at an incredible rate and we would like someone who wants to grow with us, therefore being ambitious and having a "can do" attitude will really help in this role.


Who Are We?


MY Getaways is Sussex's leading serviced accommodation/holiday lets provider and we welcome over 25,000 guests to the City every year and are growing fast.

Our waterside office is based near Hove Lagoon, 15 minutes walk from Portslade train station.


Who Are you?


This role would suit a lettings agent from an independent estate agency, a Property Manager from an estate agency chain, a shift/Operations supervisor from a hotel or accommodation business, nightclub/late bar or an events manager/organiser somebody who is used to juggling lots of things at the same time and delivering results.


Your spoken and written English will need to be exceptional as you will be dealing with guests both face to face and via digital communications.

You will be able to think on your feet, be self-motivated, be a people person and be able to work in a team or alone at times.


Can you Drive?


You will need to leave the office to go to properties regularly, therefore, you will be able to drive, have an almost clean licence, with a maximum of 3 points and be over 25, so we can insure you on company vans, which you will be driving to and from our properties regulary.


What will my working week look like?


40 hours per week, working 5 days out of every 7 day cycle, with at least two weekends in every four week cycle.

Some earlier starts or later finishes maybe required as and when the business needs.


Pay and benefits


Salary range from £26000 to £28000 per annun dependent on experience, payable monthly plus an annual bonus based on profit and performance, company pension scheme, company phone and apple macbook plus 28 days holiday per year.

Public and bank holidays are normal working days for us (excl. xmas day), whilst you can take these days off, you will use your holiday entitlement to do so.
