What you will be doing

We're looking for two Credit Controllers to join Dentsu and be responsible for complex collection of outstanding receivables. This includes personal telephone contact for prompt payment of invoices and perform account reconciliation activities.

As Credit Controller you'll manage breaches in the credit insurance policies and supervise activities of the offshore Collections team.

In addition, dispute management cases will need to be followed up, according to defined collection processes for nominated Dentsu entities, working to resolving disputes, including working with Client and operations teams.

The difference you'll make- Monitoring of selected complex Accounts Receivable portfolio - aged or disputed- Daily collection of outstanding receivables according to defined collection processes for the assigned Media portfolio- Collect receivables and client specific information to support cash target achievement- Sending statements and reconciling complex accounts regularly (depending on customer's payment cycles) to resolve issues on accounts- Escalation of non-paying customers to the appropriate level within the organization according to defined collections processes- Weekly reviews of the cash collection performance vs targets, working proactively with the business to analyse and build the forecasts, improves data capture and process, and helps generate useful insight to share with the business- Involvement in internal and external audits, including the preparation of information requests for review

What you'll bring- Experienced Credit Controller with prior experience in collections and dispute resolution within a B2B setting- The ability to establish and develop a professional working relationship and project credibility working with the internal and external customers- Good excel knowledge and experience with (financial) administrative computer systems- Ability to work independently, self-starter, taking initiative for improvements- Accurate and organized, able to handle deadlines and maintain a high-quality level of accuracy of reporting activities

It would also be nice for you to have- San eye for detail with a problem solving mindset- Team player, provide backup and support to meet overall team goals

What else you need to know

We are recruiting for one permanent role and one fixed term role that will run until 31st December 2023. The team is based in our Manchester office but operates under flexible working arrangements.
