Overview

Sacco Mann have been instructed on an exciting opportunity for an experienced commercial property professional who's looking to take the next step in their career into more of a management position.

This role is to be a supervisor to the real estate teams'paralegals (of varying levels of experience) who predominantly provide support on real estate transactions, but also on litigation, corporate, construction, planning and banking transactions, to name but a few.

The role
You will work closely with the real estate team manager and will be responsible for:

Reviewing, understanding, and allocating incoming work efficiently.
Leading on projects undertaken by the team to include supervising and checking work undertaken by the teams' paralegals.
Tracking progress to ensure deadlines are met, answering questions from the team, and liaising with instructing lawyers to keep them updated on how the work is progressing.
Tracking and mapping the team's capabilities to ensure work is being allocated appropriately.
Reviewing time recording and utilisation reports/ assisting team members to record time fully and accurately.
People management of a subteam of paralegals to include tasks such as approval of holidays, monitoring sickness, giving feedback, etc.
Fee earning experience within a legal commercial property team
Previous experience of supervising a team
Experience of working in a demanding environment
Excellent attention to detail
Exceptional communication skills: must be able to interact with colleagues at all levels to include Partners and Associates at them and external clients.
Excellent time management and organisational skills
Excellent IT skills.
Enthusiastic and proactive approach
