My client in Daresbury, Warrington is looking for a Trainee Finance Assistant. This role is offering upto 23K + Study support. This is an amazing opportunity for someone, that is interested in a career in Finance.

The role is a standard Trainee Finance Assistant who will be expected to:

  • Support our AP supervisor with all AP duties
  • Input of Invoices onto SAGE
  • Scanning & Electronic matching high volumes of documents (up to 1500 per month)
  • Seek approvals
  • Support payment runs
  • Deal with incoming queries internally and externally
  • Supplier statement reconciliations
  • Matching PO's
  • Challenge spend outside of policy or approvals
  • Ad hoc duties
  • Support AR function with
  • Cash posting
  • Statement reconciliations
  • AR queries
  • Ad hoc Duties


This will be a great opportunity for any dynamic, driven individual that is contemplating a career in the Finance sector.


  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail

  • Have 12 months experience in a finance function

The package will be:

  • Salary range (£20K £23K)
  • Up to 5% annual bonus based on Personal & Company performance
  • Study Support
  • 25 days + Bank Holidays
