Major Recruitment are representing an incredibly exciting new opportunity in the Commercial Division of an Insurance company.

While this role can be demanding, it is also highly diverse with outstanding prospects for the right individual - an expected routeto Director.

This opportunity can be based in either South Yorkshire or Derbyshire.


As Commercial Manager, you will be managing the Commercial Division consisting of a team of Broking staff and Business Development managers.

You will be maintaining and developing relationships with the insurer panel and you will be assisting in managingsome of the larger portfolio clients.


The business has grown 100% in Premium income in the last 4 years and the Board is looking to do the same over the next 5 years with the right person at the helm.

- You will report directly into the Group CEO


Applicants must have a minimum of 5 years experience within a commercial role and with experience of placing/negotiating premiums with insurers, leadership experience and ideally but not essentially some experience of customer facing business development.

Salary will be £60k - £75k with OTE Bonus potential to £90k

Contributory pension scheme

Car allowance £350 p/m

25 days holiday per annum in addition to bank holidays
