Air Import Customer Service Specialist - Hounslow, United Kingdom - ASL Personnel
Description
Our Clients based an establish freight forwarder based in Hounslow are looking to recruit an dynamic & customer focused Air Import Customer Service Specialist to join their growing Air operations team
Duties would include acting as the key contact for customers and managers supporting with operational processes including obtaining Customs clearance instructions, confirming delivery/vehicle requirements, queries, customer requests, complaints and issues whilst providing swift remedial actions, collecting VAT and duty payments.
You will use your exceptional customer service and communication skills to build and develop relationships with your customers, and proactively monitor shipment progress ensuring the customers are kept informed at every milestone of the process and any delays or issues are communicated in a timely manner.
Alongside your day-to-day role you may also be required to provide spot quotations and up-and-cross-sell on inbound customer calls passing on leads to sales teams to generate further business.
Attractive salary 28k-30k dependant on experience
Salary:
£28,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Hounslow: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
