An exciting opportunity has arisen at Nuvo Accountancy for an experienced Payroll Advisor to join us on a temporary basis. Immediate start available.

Nuvo Accountancy, with offices in Derby, Burton upon Trent, Nottingham and Mansfield, offers a range of service lines including Bookkeeping, Payroll, VAT, Management Accounts, Accounts, Tax and Audit.
Responsibilities:
- Process payroll for employees in the organisation.
- Audit and verify timekeeping records.
- Calculate SSP, SMP and SPP when required.
- Process all starters and leavers ensuring documents such as P45's are in place for employees.
- Ensuring all records relating to pension administration and auto enrolment are accurately processed.
- Update records and process all changes accordingly in line with company policies.
- Maintain personnel database regarding salaries.
- Manage organization budget and expenses.
- Report to department supervisor regarding daily activities and issues.
- Work directly with clients to achieve organization goals as required.
- Address and resolve employee complaints relating to the payroll system.
- Work with company database programs to process payroll.
- Prepare reports to relevant departments about payroll, company budget and expense.
- Complete other ad hoc duties as required.
- Experience using Brightpay would be advantageous but not essential as full training will be given.
- Previous payroll and pension experience.
- A thorough understanding of payroll related compliance.
- Ability to communicate with several stakeholders.
- Proficient IT skills.
Location:
Can be based from our Derby, Burton upon Trent or Nottingham office. Hybrid working will be considered after completed training.
Hourly Rate of Pay Salary:
£15/16 based on experience and qualifications.
