We are looking for a UX Researcher to join our team.


As a UX Researcher, you will work closely with the UX/Design teams and Kaplan teams to translate user research and analysis of user behaviour to continually improve and optimise our eCommerce websites and enhance the digital learning products we offer, across a portfolio of Kaplan and associated brands.

From planning through to final delivery, the role will ensure that research and data underpins and informs decision making so that the user remains at the centre of everything we do.

What you'll bring to the role


Your solid understanding of planning and delivering user experience research using a variety of different qualitative and quantitative methods, will ensure that we are continuing to deliver great quality experiences that our users expect.

With a critical mindset, you're comfortable gathering and using data to help make user-centric recommendations. As a good communicator, you love to collaborate with others and

help bring user insight to life.

  • Good knowledge and experience of running and facilitating qualitative and quantitative design research activities
  • Good understanding of the strengths and limitations of different UX research methods and that will help deliver meaningful results for the organisation
  • Experience in areas such as planning, wireframing, usability and accessibility
  • Analytical mindset and able to interrogate data from a variety of sources
  • Ability to document and communicate actionable insights and recommendations with stakeholders throughout the business
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to build and foster strong and collaborative working relationships
  • Knowledge of web standards, browser and device compatibility
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Creative thinker, problem solver and a results driven passion
  • Experience with Google Analytics, analytics teams and/or CRO testing, advantageous but not essential
  • Experience working with ecommerce websites, advantageous but not essential
