This varied role will involve provision of proactive commercially focused, yet people-sensitive, HR advice and guidance to the business which covers all aspects of operational HR.

This role also involves the delivery of discrete project work from inception to completion. This role works across all Business Units, and will work closely with HR Business Partners.


Accountabilities

  • Provision of HR advice to employees, including advice around our family friendly provisions
  • Refine and operate key HR processes and procedures eg inductions, exit interviews etc and coordinate relevant correspondence with HR Assistants
  • Use of management information to identify trends/ issues in conjunction with HR Business Partners
  • Manage employee relations cases from end to end which may include conduct, absence management or performance cases, with support from HR Business Partner as required
  • Provide help to implement change management initiatives
  • Facilitate skills development sessions within the wider business
  • Ensure accurate data is maintained on HR systems
  • Assist HR Business Partners with cyclical processes e.g. annual pay and bonus reviews
  • Support the recruitment process as required (up to Partner level)
  • Undertake various ad hoc projects and activities as required in accordance with agreed HR team priorities

Skills

  • Solid and demonstrable experience of working in professional services or within a financially regulated environment, would be desirable but not essential.
  • Experience of guiding business managers in straight forward employee relations matters

Knowledge

  • Sound working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Able to use initiative and make decisions with minimum guidance, within realm of responsibilities
